COBWEB BROOMS

More than a handcrafts class, Emileigh creates a ritual space for participants to settle in and create with intention. Everyone will have an opportunity to make 1 cobweb broom – learning how to tie whole lengths of broomcorn to a handle, weave the stems, and stitch it round.

WHISKBROOM CRAFT
Join Emileigh for a day of broomcraft and connection.
More than a handcrafts class, Emileigh creates a ritual space for participants to settle in and create with intention. Everyone will have an opportunity to make up to 4 brooms:
A large and small turkey wing whisk, a hawktail whisk, and a stitched whisk.

FLOOR SWEEPERS
Join Emileigh for a day of broomcraft and connection.
More than a handcrafts class, Emileigh creates a ritual space for participants to settle in and create with intention. Everyone will have an opportunity to make a full size sweeper broom. Students will learn how to tie the broom, weave the cap out of broomcorn stems, and stitch it flat. Handles provides (or bring your own!)
*This is an advanced class. Students must have previous broommaking experience – with me or someone else – to book.

WOVEN WHISKS

More than a handcrafts class, Emileigh creates a ritual space for participants to settle in and create with intention. Everyone will have an opportunity to make I woven whisk – learning the basics of broom tying, weaving a handle with broomcorn stems, and stitching it flat.
