You will be guided through the process of crafting a full size sweeper broom.
Handles will be provided (but we will discuss harvesting/procuring the right handle) and you’ll learn how to tie the broom, stitch them flat, and plait a beautifully woven cap.

Due to the strenuous nature of this craft, I ask that you have moderate hand/upper body strength and you’ll need to be able to use your feet to keep tension on a wooden “foot treadle”.
This class is open to those who have attended one of my whisk broom or cobweb broom classes or who have previous broom-making experience.
