Join professional crafters Bee Beddingfield, Emileigh Zola, and Jessamy Ames for a connective, fun, informative, and productive day of crafting gifts for the holidays!

Bee Beddingfield is a self-taught professional pyrography artist and author of the book Creative Woodburning. She sells her hand-burned artwork, jewelry, and kitchenwares locally and online via her business BeeSymmetry Designs.
As a resident of the Blue Ridge, she is heavily inspired by the natural beauty around her and seeks to capture that essence in her bold and intricate designs. Working with the element of fire/heat and natural materials like wood and leather brings an earthiness to each item~connecting the history of the once-living “canvas” with new life and possibility.
When teaching, both in-person and through her online courses, Bee shares the fundamental techniques of woodburning and advocates for its incredible versatility in creating functional art pieces which can serve a purpose in daily life. Come experience this fun, sensory art form for yourself!
Emileigh Zola has a passion for curating spaces of depth, connection, and inspiration. She is the founder of “Rhythm and Ritual”, where she empowers individuals to craft handmade brooms with mindfulness & intention.
Emileigh has been tying brooms for over a decade now and loves sharing her craft with others. She is a patient and inclusive teacher, really encouraging students to slow down and tap into their own unique creative expression.
Jessamy Ames has called the Western North Carolina mountains home since her first Appalachian spring of 2000 (while reading Barbara Kingsolver’s novel Prodigal Summer).
With a background in handcrafts, gardening, foraging, beekeeping, and healing arts, creating beeswax candles felt like a natural progression.
Jessamy has been selling candles at markets since 2021 and continues to be fascinated by this traditional craft and the sacred qualities of wax from honeybees.
We will be opening the class all together in a circle style format with a meditation and brief share before breaking off into two smaller groups. There will be a community altar set up and you are invited to bring objects of meaning from home to contribute. (You will bring them back home at the conclusion of class!)
